With the low numbers of Locking specific events/jams around in the US, we hope to continue to do our part in providing a space to help bring lockers around the world together in celebrating our love for Locking. Same party vibe, with our unique GMx Locking battle format on the side.

**GMX BATTLE FORMAT RULES:**
PRELIMS: Dancers will do the usual solo showcase round up to :45 sec or 1 minute. (DJ's choice music)
17th RANK CALL OUT BATTLE After the Top 16 are chosen, the 17th rank dancer will have an opportunity to call out any of the Top 16 in a head to head battle for their spot. (1 round)
TOP 16 Head to head format, 2 rounds (1 round 80's Funk, 1 round Disco)
TOP 8 Head to head format, 2 rounds (1 round Hip-Hop, 1 round DJs choice)
KING/QUEEN OF THE HILL The remaining dancers after the Top 8 brackets will then go into a King (or Queen) of the hill format. The Top 2 with the most wins within 15 minutes advances to the final top 2. (Music will be songs from various genres handpicked by GroovMekanex members and will be played at random by the DJ per round)
FINALS Head to head battle. (2 rounds, judge's choice music)
