Support Our Styles aka S.O.S. is an event hosted by More Than Movement dedicated to highlighting the culture, history, and foundation of the various street styles that continue to exist in our communities today. To celebrate Rae Studios' incredible Latiné community, we are hosting a special edition of S.O.S. as a love letter to the many contributions of the Latiné community in dance.

This has been long awaited, and we’re so excited to throw this funk/disco jam.

Our goal is to enrich the Sacramento dance scene with the dance styles of the funk and disco era.

Syndicate will be hosting auditions to go into the new year and season 7!!

About the event: We invite everyone to join our first annual Support Our Styles (S.O.S) event! S.O.S. is an annual event dedicated to highlighting the culture, history, and foundation of the various street styles that continue to exist in our communities today.

Separate, showcase-style prelims for waacking and locking. Waacking prelims will be judged by the two waacking judges. Locking prelims will be judged by the two locking judges.*

The 6th Annual Environmental Justice Summit will bring together leading BIPOC environmental organizers from the Bay Area and beyond. We will come together to share experiences and discuss steps to diversify the Green Movement and the needs of our most vulnerable communities.

The Crackle-Off - a version of Waack, Crackle, Lock! for folks who love waacking and locking but don't do these as their main style. This waacker/locker 2v2 for non-waackers and non-lockers aims to bridge communities through the two dances.

Calling all waackers, lockers, and trickers, save the date for April 30 because Project X is back for a second edition! This event will be held at Loopkicks Tricking in Santa Clara and will feature battles in all three categories.

Project X will be one of the first big waacking events of 2022, so it would be great to have everyone come out and support! Can't wait to see all the BAE waackers there!
