Summer dance is just around the corner, and we are BACK! The AFX Competitive Team is excited to be hosting the second urban Dance Camp for the 2019 AFXsi season. Our 8-week long workshop and fundamentals series seeks to expose dancers to a variety of diverse styles, train movement through drills, and practice freestyle exercises. In addition, we aim to provide directing and set-building experience through the creation of a medley-style set over a 2-week period as a result of our training. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are willing to push themselves to grow and learn in dance and contribute to a supportive environment. If you are interested, you MUST fill out the application below by Tuesday, June 25th at 5:00 PM. Please fill it out as soon as possible! You MUST ALSO attend one of the gen audition days listed below.
[AUDITION DATES]: - Saturday 6/22 from 3-6pm - Thursday 6/27 from 7-10pm
*PLEASE NOTE* that the application is due BEFORE the second audition date – regardless of which gen audition you attend, you must turn in the application by the deadline. If not, you will unfortunately not be considered for Dance Camp.
Both audition dates will be held OUTSIDE Haas Pavilion unless noted otherwise. Please do not try to enter the venue!
