In October 2021 we established the “Bay Area Event Collective”
this a collective group that was created to accomplish a specific set of goals:

- Share upcoming potential event dates 2-3 months in advance to prevent booking events on the same day but also ensure we all support each others local dance communities.
- Request assistance for resources such as DJ’s , Judges, equipment, venue, sponsors, etc.)
- collaborate and combine resources to organize community centered events, workshops & festivals
-Guidance, education and information on how to produce successful events for the dance community

Our mission to encourage dialogue, teamwork, and communication amongst all of us that work so hard to provide quality events for the community.

Event Schedule:

2-4PM:
-We are inviting and encouraging all event organizers/Organizations from our bay area dance community to attend and connect with one another
- Featuring Presentations from Local organizers and volunteers regarding some of the recent and long-standing issues within our dance scene.
- Community forum: This will be moderated segment Open FOR ANYONE to attend and give constructive feedback in addition to voicing their concerns to the organizers of our community

4-7 PM
-Open styles dance session Feat. Djs Davy Smiles, Kosan & Oui Boogie
