SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Companies must submit THE SAME PIECES that they intend to perform.

• Submitting 2 (or more) pieces is required for all non local companies. Bay area performers may submit one piece.

• Pieces must be between 6-18 MINUTES long.

• Include footage of ENTIRE piece with entire cast- NO EXCERPTS

• Submit good quality footage

• Rehearsal footage is ok to submit

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

Professional Dance Companies from all over the world (Any size, from solo to group)

• All styles of Hip Hop and Hip Hop Fusion

• Use of Hip Hop styles in unique and interesting ways

• Use of Hip Hop Dance in a theatrical way

• Social Content/Commentary

• Artistic Quality

• Extraordinary Technical Skill and Ability

• Pieces must be 6-18 minutes

IF SELECTED, SFIHHDF WILL PROVIDE

• Round-trip airfare and lodging and/or performance fees

• Travel arrangements, ground transportation and some meals

• Invitations to attend all VIP events hosted by the SFIHHDF

• Network Opportunities

• Media /Press Articles, Reviews and Photos
  

IF SELECTED, YOU WILL PROVIDE

• Visas/passports to travel to the U.S.

• Marketing and promotion for the event via your social media.

• All required SFIHHDF forms by their specified deadlines.
